I. Policy Title: Institutional Travel Account
II. Who does this policy affect?
All HFC faculty and staff.
III. Purpose
To encourage the professional employees of Henry Ford College to represent the College by participating in programs of professional societies, the College has established an "Institutional Travel Account." (“ITA”) within various department of the College. The purpose of the ITA is to supplement the normal professional travel funds of professionals that are established within individual department budgets.
IV. Policy Statement
Individuals traveling on behalf of the College will be reimbursed for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in connection with the approved travel. The President will establish written administrative procedures, consistent with this policy, for approval of the use of the ITA. All reimbursements through this account will follow procedures for regular College travel
