I. Policy Title: HFC Foundation

II. Who does this policy affect?

All HFC faculty, staff, students, HFC Foundation Board of Directors and HFC Board of Trustees.

III. Purpose

The Board of Trustees, as of March 1982, authorized the formation of aa separate Michigan Nonprofit tax-exempt corporation under the present name of Henry Ford College Foundation. The purposes for which the Foundation is organized is to operate and act exclusively for the benefit of Henry Ford College; to generally operate and act for such charitable purposes; and, to receive and administer assets for such charitable and educational purposes.

IV. Policy Statement

The management and control of the HFC Foundation's property and activities are vested in the HFC Foundation Board of Directors, a group of community leaders committed to the mission and philosophy of service to the College.
