503 HFC Finance Committee
The Finance Committee shall be composed of three regular members of the Board with the current Treasurer acting as Chair. Whenever possible, the immediate past Treasurer shall be one of three on this committee. In addition, an alternate member shall be appointed and will attend committee meetings in the absence of a regular member. The Committee is charged with providing policy guidance for
the financial management of the College. The Committee shall:
Develop and periodically review financial policies.
Monitor financial management for compliance with Board policy, laws, and government regulations.
Oversee the annual operating budget to determine how resource allocations support the mission of the College.
Monitor requests for borrowing for purpose and to ensure financial operating ratios are maintained.
